Playgrounded is a collective project that has released several albums. The band plays a blend of progressive rock and metal, combining heavy alternative metal with contemporary electronic music. Their sound has drawn comparisons to artists such as Deftones, Massive Attack, Tool, Karnivool, and The Ocean.
In 2022, the band released their sophomore album, The death of Death, through the renowned post-metal label Pelagic Records. Over the years, Playgrounded have shared the stage with a number of notable international and Greek acts. That same year, they supported The Ocean on a 36-date tour across the UK and Europe. They were also invited to close a show for Nine Inch Nails in Amsterdam, and have performed alongside artists such as Anathema, Riverside, Rotting Christ, Sleep Token, Loathe, Unprocessed, and Caligula's Horse.
The band has also made appearances at several prominent post- and progressive-rock festivals, including ArcTanGent, Euroblast, Radar (2023), and Hellseatic Festival in Bremen.
